When you buy a used car from a dealership, like Presidential Auto Leasing & Sales, you can rest assured that you’re purchasing a car in good condition. However, if you want additional peace of mind when purchasing used, follow these tips for cleaning your car.
Wipe down frequently touched surfaces
Before you go for your first drive, it is a good idea to wipe down any surfaces that are frequently touched while driving. These include the steering wheel, door handles, control knobs and headrest.
Vacuum the interior
Vacuum the upholstery, and be sure to reach places in between the headliner, floors and seats. Then, use upholstery shampoo to wash it.
Buy an air filter
Replace the cabin air filter to make sure that the air coming into the car is clean and fresh. You can also spray the intake vent with disinfectant to further sanitize the vehicle.
Clean the keys
Keys are often kept in pockets and touched by past drivers, so be sure to wipe off the keys before driving the vehicle.
By following these tips, you can feel at ease and relaxed when driving your recently purchased used car. If you’re interested in purchasing a luxurious used vehicle, view our inventory at Presidential Auto Leasing & Sales in Delray Beach, Florida, online.
